I got all of the front body panels off the truck today so I'm hoping to get the engine pulled tomorrow. I built my build table today as well. I built it on a level(ish) surface and am going to have to build some sort of riser for one end as the area I will be working isn't very level. I figured in case I have to move the table, it wasn't going to be worth building it to be level in only one place. It's built from 2x4's with 4x4's in the corners and 3/4" MDF on top. I will add additional bracing to increase rigidity if necessary, but it should be good for now.

Donor Car Pictures
Okay, took me a little longer than it should have to get some pictures as I've been studying all week, but here's some from earlier today (before I removed anything). I took the bed and hood off the truck tonight and started removing the fenders with the help of a few friends. I'll take some more pictures of the car getting disassembled tomorrow. I'm hoping to get my build table built this weekend as well as getting the car fully disassembled.

Got the S-10 Donor Yesterday
I bought a donor for my locost build yesterday. It's a 1993 Chevy S-10 with the 2.8L V6 that I got for $450. It runs but loses power when given gas. I'm hoping it's just a fuel delivery problem but we'll see when I get a better chance to look at the engine when I get it pulled and cleaned up. I'll post some pictures later today or tomorrow of the donor car.
I'm planning on building a 442E or something custom slightly bigger than the book frame to fit the V6. I'll be using the live axle for the rear for simplicity sake (442E might not work though since the axle is so narrow). I'm going to try and get some F-body rear disc brakes from a junkyard and possibly some F-body brakes for the front.
I'm hoping to start tearing down the donor car starting on Friday considering I have a Diff Eq test and a Physics test this week. If all goes well with disassembling the car, then I will work on building my build table next week and hopefully start building my frame by next weekend.
